Manali Jispa Tour – 2 Nights 3 Days
Itinerary
- Day 01: Manali Arrival and Local Sightseeing
Cab
will pick you up from Manali bus stand. Check in to your hotel and take
some rest. Then start your Manali local sightseeing tour. Visit the
Hadimba Temple. Spend some time admiring the unique architecture and
soaking in the peaceful ambiance of the temple premises. After visiting
Hadimba Temple, head to Vashisht, located just a short distance away.
Enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural hot water springs and explore the
Vashisht Temple, which is known for its architectural beauty and
spiritual significance. Then head towards Solang Valley to indulge in
some adventure activities and soak in the breathtaking mountain views.
Depending on your interests and the season, you can try activities like
paragliding, zorbing, or simply take a leisurely walk to enjoy the
scenery. If time permits, proceed to Old Manali. Wander through the
charming lanes lined with quaint cafes, vibrant shops, and guesthouses.
You can grab a bite to eat at one of the local eateries offering
delicious Himachali cuisine or international dishes. On your way back to
Manali town, you can stop at local markets to pick up souvenirs,
handicrafts, and other local specialties.Back to hotel for overnight
stay. - Day 02: Manali to Jispa (95 km)
After
breakfast, check out the hotel and start for Jispa. Visit Solang
Valley. You can indulge in adventure activities such as paragliding,
zorbing, skiing and snowboarding, depending on the season. You can also
take a ropeway to get a bird’s eye view of the valley. After Solang
Valley, you will pass through Atal Tunnel. The tunnel is a marvel of
engineering and is an attraction in itself. It connects Manali to
Lahaul-Spiti valley and reduces travel time significantly. Enjoy the
scenic views around. After Atal Tunnel, you will reach Sissu. Sissu is
located on the banks of the Chandra River, and you can take a walk along
the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery around. Visit the Sissu
Waterfall, which is located a short distance away from the village. The
waterfall is a popular attraction and is surrounded by lush greenery.
Reach Jispa in the evening via Tandi and Keylong. Check in to your
hotel/camp in Jispa. - Day 03: Excursion to Baralachala Pass and Manali Drop (200 km)
Start
early in the morning from Jispa towards Baralacha La. Reach Darcha, a
small village en route to Baralacha La. Here is a check post. Make your
entries here and proceed ahead. The road to Baralachala is very scenic
with several hairpin bends and steep inclines. Take your time to enjoy
the scenic views of the surroundings. Visit Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal
lakes en route. The water is crystal clear and the lakes have high
mountains all around. Rest for a while and take lunch at Zingzingbar. It
is a temporary settlement with basic food and sleep arrangements. Reach
Baralacha La Pass, which is located at an altitude of 5000 meters above
sea level. Take a break and explore the surroundings. You can also take
some amazing pictures with the stunning views of the mountains. After
spending some time at the pass, start your journey back towards Manali
via Atal Tunnel. Enroute visit Keylong, Tandi, Sissu and Atal Tunnel.
Cab will drop you at bus stand or your hotel. You may either take
overnight bus for your hometown or stay at Manali.
